GAME CFP Semifinal: #3 Georgia Vs #2 Michigan 7:30pm ET ESPN

Happy new year you curmudgeon. This is the state of college football. No system of assigning games is going to change it. Enjoy it or don't. Endless bitching on new years day isn't going to change a thing. Just makes you look salty AF.
Well done. Now do @JewTheGator

I turned off the Michigan/Georgia game at halftime and watched the new James Bond movie so my evening wasn't a complete waste of time.
There was an overall lack of competitive games all year long, not just bowl season. Blame Covid, the transfer portal system, way too many coaching staff changes attempting instant gratification, now NIL mudding up the mix even more.

Teams no longer have the depth they once had. If you have any of the talent you do have go out with injury or just fail to produce, the kids you used to have to step in are already gone because God forbid a talented kid wait their turn on a team as backup anymore. No, they would rather even hit a G5 to get guaranteed playing time. It has been eroding the sport for a few years now and we are seeing the impact. It isn't going to get better.

Article I ran across. Didn't read it because the title's absurd.

Could Ohio State have given Georgia a better game than michigan? Reese Davis thinks so

Ohio State's D is terrible.

Mich wanted to be there but JimmyJamz had some sleepovers he couldn't reschedule.

Good News Michigan Fans...

Corum(and his 11 yards on 5 touches) has guaranteed that Michigan will be back in the CFP next year...

I don’t want recruits from our state. I want recruits from Georgia, Florida and Texas.
Pshhh

Ohio St had all of 3 players from those states in their #2 ranked 2021 recruiting class.
None from Florida. None from California.
One of the Texans (Ewers) was a late get (visit June 2021/Enrolled Aug 15) and he's no longer there.

States represented in Ohio St's 2021 class

Ohio : 6
Washington: 2
Virginia: 2
Pennsylvania: 2
Texas: 2 (Now 1)
Missouri: 1
Georgia: 1
North Carolina: 1
Tennessee: 1
Kentucky: 1
Arizona: 1
Indiana: 1
Colorado: 1
Australia: 1

And then they lost to Michigan

So, I just want to make sure I have this correct. We are now deciding who should have been in the playoff after the playoff games were played.

There were few games in the semifinals that were close. Yes, The Wolverines and Cincy scored very few points, but Ohio State scored zero points once, Washington scored 7, Notre Dame scored 3, Clemson scored 6, and Michigan State scored 0. Not counting this past semifinals, the average score of winning team over losing team is 40-19.

ESPNU is replaying the game right now.

So enjoyable I am watching again.
