GAME CFP Semifinal: #3 Georgia Vs #2 Michigan 7:30pm ET ESPN

Why were Michigan and Cincy in the playoffs?

Rofl. Who would you have put in? Notre Dame... who lost to Cinci by 11 at home? A two loss Ohio State team that didn't make it to the conference championship? A 3-loss PAC Champ Utah? A 2-loss Big 12 champ Baylor? A 2-loss Ole Miss team that didn't make it to the conference championship, got blown out by Bama and lost to a mediocre Auburn team? An 11-2 ACC champ that lost to Western Michigan and a crappy Miami team?

I disagree that Ohio State was better than UofM this season. JH's crew were the better, more experienced and hungrier team. They outplayed the Buckeyes from start to finish.
That conference was very weak this year.

So you actually enjoyed watching that carnage yesterday?

The playoffs proved neither of these teams were worthy of being there.

Who would have you put in there instead of UofM & Cincy?

A one-loss N.D. team that lost to Cincy?

An Okie State team that didn't win their conference?

One of the 2-loss teams that finished in the regular season top 10?

The B1G had the highest SRS (not to mention five of the top 10 teams per SRS) and SoS rankings per Sports-Reference, but sure it was "very weak".

The playoffs proved that neither of the losing teams belonged? Does this hold true the year Michigan State got wasted or the year that Clemson destroyed Ohio State? Or the year Washington lost to Bama. You win the most games, knock off teams in your conference, and make it to and win your conference championship. More than likely you are in. Coaches prepare, players get ready. Just one team does it better than the other.

Are you going to tell us who should have been in?
I'm just saying that there must be some teams better than Michigan and Cincy. I like watching competitive football.

I do too, now tell us who should have been in.

If that's the best college football has to offer then why even watch those games?

lol at after the fact bitching about teams that got in because of how they ended up playing in their games.

This is why the talk about 4 vs 8, 12, 16 playoffs is pretty much moot.

It wouldn't have mattered who else you put up against those two teams. In THIS season, there is a pretty sizeable gap between the top two teams and everyone else. There's a band somewhere in there with a group of teams that could be fairly evenly matched, but not at the top.

You could have had a 12 team playoff and still probably end up with Georgia v Bama. That's where the talent is right now.

Then just have Georgia play Alabama and cut to the chase.

Yes, I enjoy watching competitive football. Don't you?

You're not a real CFB fan. You've been asked multiple times who should have been in the CFB instead of UofM & Cincy and won't give an answer.

It is not for me or you to decide who is in the playoffs. I just enjoy watching competitive football and what I saw yesterday was an abomination.

So we should just end the current playoff because this year it provided games you didn't care for. Fuck future years, fuck those kids who deserved their chance this year. Fuck all but your entertainment.

Sure.

For someone that's so adamant that there's more deserving teams, you sure seem very hesitant to list them.
Once again Michigan and Cincy were completely outclassed. Is this the state of college football today?
