CFP v DEC3

If the final spot comes down between SMU and Alabama, you don't need a resume' to explain why Bama is in and SMU is out.

It's still about money and Bama will draw in more money than SMU.

It is what it is.

Money still comes first.

Well done Texas, SMU, Indiana and Miami. That's a fine looking goose egg in that first column.

Name the last decision made by CFB that wasn't made because of money? I'll wait.

I’m on record Alabama should only get in if SMU wins Saturday. I don’t see the outrage when comparing Alabama to OM, Miami, South Carolina….their resume is superior to all 3.

While many are beating the old "Bama is getting the name recognition/reputation" benefit of the doubt, they shouldn't be punished for it either. jmo.

If Bama and Miami had swapped resumes do you really think it would even be a discussion if it was Bama or Miami getting in?

Absolutely If Miami had wins over Georgia, South Carolina and Mizzou and Bama had zero wins against the current CFP top 25.

I'd like to see fresh blood in the playoffs besides Bama as well. But I've been vocal about all four of those teams that have zero ranked wins. It is obvious the committee doesn't agree with me.

Since Miami, SMU and Clemson didn't play each other, they can direct their anger at the ACC as far as I'm concerned...which includes the rest of their fellow conference members they did play. They could have played well enough to be rated. That would have helped the resumes of those three.

Maybe for you it would be a discussion but for the committee they wouldn't be giving Miami with 3 losses even a slight look over Bama with 2 losses, both bad and zero good wins.

That’s cool

You lost to two 6 win teams. One of those you couldn’t score a single TD.

We did score a TD btw..it was blatantly taken away from us. That game could have easily been 10-10. Our defense held them to 10 points. Milroe directly gave them 14 and We blatantly got a TD taken from us
