Spanish clubs sucking. Barca, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, only Real ok and just ok lol.
 
Spurs got through an ugly 3 points. Held a comfortable 3-1 lead with Frankfurt down to 10 men into the 80th minute and really stepped off the intensity. Gave away a cheap corner kick goal to make it hectic at the end (and compounded the issue by blowing 3-4 wide open chances at goal, including Kane sending a pen into the 20th row).

But 3 points is what they were after and they got it. Job done, even if it was ugly.

Sometimes you take off the gas and get it back. Bayern let Plzen back in the game with shoddy defending after a bunch of substitutes. Bayern had 8 players missing today including Muller who got hurt early.

One more thing about Barca, if they don't make knockouts with their financial issues, what is going to happen to this roster? I think they needed knockout rounds financially and to go far in UCL. Xavi going to take the hit.

In two weeks are the games. The Inter / Plzen game in the morning. So when Bayern plays Barca we will know the result.

By the way, why did Barca spend so much money and sell players to get Marcos Alonso? Well played Chelsea and well played Bayern for stealing Mazroui from Barca. They got desparate and paid big dividends for Inter and Bayern today. Xavi was already getting slammed by his starting defense by Barca fans. Look at some of the tweets on google. They expected to lose with this back four and in many ways did:

Alonso - Eric - Pique - Roberto

P.S. Please don't blow it Inter against Plzen. Bury them early and don't let up like Bayern.

Dortmund should have beaten Man City yesterday...if Haaland there. Moukoku gaffing all Adeyemi's perfect passes. Another Pep special yesterday. Barely a shot on goal. Didn't deserve to win on a penalty kick. And rightfullly didn't.
 
Big day of UCL today. Early game Milan vs Plzen in Milan. Please Milan don't lose. It would be a huge upset if it happens. Knowing we all want Barcelona in Europa it probably will. I want that Bayern game at noon knowing Barcelona in Europa at that point badly.

FYI: You see Goretza cracked on Lewandowski saying something of the sort "you were spoiled at Bayern".

Loved Goretzka’s jab. Not sure if he and RL weren’t friends, but his statement was true.

I hope Barcelona’s fate is sealed even before the Bayern match today.
