I heard that a lot of times these dogs are legally "officers" so that if you injure/kill one, you get severe penalities. It's only fair they are afforded some measure of protection for what they do, going after these scumbags.

Here we go again. Maria Che-Tiul, a 34-year-old child sex assault suspect who escaped from a Missouri prison in June was captured in Avondale, Pennsylvania. Put in the same Chester County Prison that convicted murderer Danilo Cavalcante escaped from.
