Horrible! And, at risk of being callous, a real potential distraction for the game. Hopefully the children will end up ok.

Yes, an assistant coach for the Chiefs driving drunk and ramming stationary vehicles certainly qualifies as a distraction.

Its andy reids kid right?
Reid, 35, who is Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s son, has worked on the team’s coaching staff since his father arrived before the 2013 season.

So many distractions for the Chiefs. This helps with the excuses.

Hope the kids are okay. Terrible.

Yup.

Boozing beforehand too.

I think Papa Reid has had kid issues before. The eldest son OD'd I think.
Both sons had their issues and run ins with the law while he was in Philly. I remember the other brother was much worse off.

I admit, it came to mind when I read that he hit two parked cars. And maybe there is something there....but many sober people have hit cars on the side of the road too.

Wow, yeah Jesus Christ.

"In 2007, Britt was sentenced to 8 to 23 months in jail alongside his brother Garrett for running a "drug emporium" from their home.[5]

Reid was involved in a road rage incident in 2007 where he pointed a gun at another man's face. A lawsuit was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed sum in 2014."

Shit, I was thinking these instances were the older brother, but they were the outside linebackers coach of the Chiefs.

I know nothing about what happened, but it did make me wonder when it was mentioned he hit two parked cars. He and his brother were messes not long ago.

Usually these days from being on the phone. If he was rushing, cause the wife was up his ass, and had few pops, and was getting on the freeway speeding home, and looking at his wife's angry texts, and.....

I mean its all speculation, and I could never relate to this situation, but I am guilty of driving impaired over the years. If you roll the dice, and you hurt otehr people, regardless of the situation, you pay the price. I got lucky for years, but increased my odds by not doing it anymore.

With Uber, and lyft, there is no good excuse for risking your, or other people's lives. We all know it.

You raise a good possible point. My take from when his sons got in trouble in the past is that they were spoiled kids and never taught to be prepared to be an adult. Maybe he is trying to grow past that and earned his place as a coach. But, that could also mean he’s crazy busy and overloaded.

It’s an accident. Could be many things.

so many? Ok, there's this. What else?

Well, 'this' is quite a bit. Not just a coach, but the son of the HC is in the hospital, and could end up serving time if that little kid dies from the injuries he caused with his DUI. Then also the COVID positive barber resulting in losing the center, for at least 5 days, when trying to practice with a ragtag offensive line from losing more guys last week.

I know you're confident in the Chiefs chances on this road game, but I have concerns. It's a lot to overcome.

put the brown paper bag away, you worry wart. good God man, just relax and enjoy the fact that your favorite NFL team is in the middle of a dynasty. They'll tomorrow night, and before it's all said and done they'll probably win at least 1, if not 2 more.

The COVID barber is an interesting one. Hopefully they got him out of there quick enough to minimize impact. Word is he was cutting, or set to cut, a lot of players hair.

How about, dont fucking worry about a hair cut until after the game? You wear a damn helmet on the field anyway.

I get the haircut. This is the big stage, and you want to look your best.

I'd like to know why the barber wasn't tested before giving haircuts to a dozen players.
