Good morning good people. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas or whatever you wish to call it. Will be having spiked eggnog and Christmas music after dinner.

This has been an historic year, and I hope everyone remembers the details to pass on to your grandchildren. We've had other years punctuated by a single even, such as 1929, 1941, and 2001; but only 1968 can match this year as far as being almost a year long nightmare.

The weather is wintery, but still decent. No snow of course, and don't miss it.

Thought for the day: Peace on Earth and goodwill to all peoples.
 
@olympicoscar 2020 - Should have taught us that "family and friends" are more important than material things.... So a very small silver lining to get out of 2020

So last night I hear all the apartment's door buzzers going off (only 12 units)... Then mine rings.... My intercom is messed up so I can't hit the talk button and they hear me or vice versa... So I just open my door, walk to the front of the building... See a Cop starring at our video camera at the entrance.... Open the door he kindly asks who he can speak to about seeing the footage for the cameras... I give him my landlords number (stupidly I didn't ask why he wanted to see footage)

I check the local police blogs and nothing... So I am not sure what they were looking for.. No one had any issues in my complex so it had to have been surrounding area and there are cameras throughout entire building and outside

Well, now it's not just going to the mall with the daughter but a few other places as well....GF gave me a list.....

Good man. My mom actually refused to do this. When my daughter was 2 she pulled a whole shelf full of pottery down on herself. Luckily nothing bonked her skull but there was shit everywhere. My folks have a big glass table sitting in the middle of their family room too. 7 grandkids and nobody has been seriously injured yet but there’s been a lot of close calls.
