Morning everyone. Probably won't be tying one on for Cinco de Mayo today. Will likely make tacos though. Inb4 cultural appropriation.

Rain held off long enough for us to play our games Saturday, field is in kind of crappy condition now though because the stunads on our board who are also playing in a softball tournament at the end of the month were practicing on our "best" field while it was raining on Sunday instead of leaving the tarps in place. So now home plate is a mess and I didn't have a chance to patch the holes in the tarp before it started raining. Next board meeting should be fun. Our president saw them and was pissed, since he and I were both down there doing clean-up work and the folks there basically ignored us.

Grand's party went ok yesterday. He had fun with his friends.

Learned at ball pictures why the wrestling (IN HS) coach resigned. He's probably in some deep crap. He was the head pharmacist at the IN hospital. Guess he was stealing meds. Even though I didn't always get along with him, seems very out of character. Not heard on the OH HS coach about his accusations of being drunk to practices & meets. Not sure if those rumors were shut down or just waiting on a decision. Had a parent ask me if I was taking either of those jobs if they came open & that was the reason I was leaving youth wrestling coaching in OH. That was a F*** NO lol.

pharmacist always seemed like an easy job to me. count out some pills and make a lot of money.

Problem? Maybe the only problem is that we don't have a "National Get Shitfaced Day" for all ethnicities for each month of the year?...

March 17th is covered for Irish.
May 5th is covered for Mexicans.

Is there an established "get shitfaced" Jewish holiday that can go national? ...Everyone wears yamakas and fake beards and gets shitfaced?...

Maybe January 25th can be that day for blacks - the day "Fuck tha Police" was released (1989). ...Every year on that day, every city in America torches a cop car (in fun) in the center of town and gets shitfaced?...

morning all, lawn bowling starts up tonight. Hooray

Played some pickleball Sunday, it's more of workout than I expected, but also realize we both sucked so spent more time chasing the ball than usual. Plan to keep playing, it was fun and at least it's a physical activity. I even biked the 2 blocks to the courts :). It's uphill on the way back.

I probably burned minimum 100 calories. Of course, I had a gin and tonic after countering said burn, but at least i broke even
