That is a big 2. SoCar OL has been shaky. That has limited their offense. Sanders is a good RB, he would have helped. Kennard is arguably the best edge in the country. That was a substantial loss..

Bama is completely different

You can keep the blinders on if you want. I did watch the Texas game. I watched Texas go up 28-10 at halftime and cruise the rest of the game.

Clemson was the ACC champ this year. Clemson played not one, not two, but three SEC teams this year. Clemson was 0-3 against SEC teams.

College football is the have and the have nots. Right now -- you have two conferences who are so superior to the other conferences, it is laughable. Sucks for fans of teams in those conferences, but it is a fact.

The SEC and B1G were the top two conferences in CFB BEFORE they decided to add Texas/Oklahoma/Oregon/USC/UCLA/Washington.

I'm not going to lie -- Michigan benefited tremendously from the big rain in our game. Michigan plays a bad weather type of offense even if it is sunny and 70, as we can't complete a forward pass.

Being spotted 16 with turnover after turnover after turnover after turnover in the 1st quarter is why we won. I was most surprised by the constant pressure Michigan put on Bama with our entire starting DL sitting out.

I can't say much about the South Carolina game -- I only caught bits and pieces as we had a New Year's party and had 12 kids running around the house.

Lol. Cruise. It was a one score game and Clemson put up numbers no one else has all season on Texas defense.

I thought Deboer was brought in bc he can adjust to any QB play style. That doesn’t seem to be the case. He needs a QB that is more pro style like Penix. Milroe looked much better with Saban, not shocking, but he looked so bad with DeBoer. His best games is where he could run effectively or when Ryan Williams mossed on guys.

I do think his best bet is going to the draft though. He needs to sit for a couple years, work with a QB guru and learn. If he did comeback for another year it shouldn’t be with DeBoer

You were down 3 score at the half and never once had the ball in the 2nd half with a chance to even tie the game.

Texas ran for 300 yards even though they lost their top 2 RBs for the season.

Clemson is a good team in the ACC. With the way CFB is now with NIL and the portal, etc. Clemson has only fallen further behind the top schools.

This isn't some big secret, but feel free to continue with your blinders on.

I know DeBoer was tremendous in his prior jobs, but man, he failed miserably with Milroe. Milroe looked like a completely different QB from when we played in the CFP and then yesterday. Granted the weather wasn't the best, but he missed guys who were open because he got happy feet in the pocket.

I can't fathom Milroe goes back to Bama. It is a shame. I'd love to have Milroe for one year at Michigan to give Underwood time to get acclimated to the college game. He wouldn't have to pass much at all for us. Just run read options with Marshall and Haynes as RB. A QB who can run like him in a physical run first offense would be deadly.

I have a feeling Underwood will be starting for us next year though. I kept telling people how big Underwood is in person. He played HS ball about 10 minutes or so from me. First time he walked past me I was shocked how wide his shoulders are and how tall he is -- he is also really fast and athletic too. The guy does backflips like Ozzie Smith when his name is announced before games. So I don't think Milroe is an option for us. It'd be fun to see him in a run heavy offense though
 
The SEC slappy crowd is hilarious, if the SEC were winning these games it would be absolute “proof” that the committee got it wrong and Bama/SCe/Ole Miss shoulda been in over teams like SMU and Indiana. But since the SEC is losing these games of course they “don’t matter” and we “can’t judge based on them”

This is not me saying Clemson is a great team or better in any way. I haven’t said that at all. But to say a team cruised when it’s a one score game late is absolutely laughable.

It’s okay. You’ve admitted you don’t watch or pay attention to who plays who. It’s just dumb to continue to act like you know who the better teams are and who does/doesn’t deserve to be in the playoffs.

Funniest part of your argument. Everything I've said has happened. We've yet to have a good game in the CFP. It is entertaining that you think a game where not once in the 2nd half did Clemson have the ball where they weren't down AT LEAST 14 points was a good game. Again, yea, Texas cruised to a win.

The fact the ACC had two teams in the CFP is laughable. If they legit want the best teams in it. Give ACC 1 team, Big 12 1 team, G5 1 team and fill the rest of the field with B1G and SEC teams. Take away Byes for conference champs

I said it about a single team, but keep telling yourself Clemson gave Texas all they could handle, even though every single offensive possession for Clemson in the 2nd half you trailed by 14-21 points. What a nail biter.

Let me guess -- you also gave Georgia all they could handle too?

Clemson was dominate back a little while ago. CFB has completely changed since then with NIL, the portal, etc. You know who hasn't changed? Dabo Swinney. It is what Clemson has been passed by now. Clemson will still be a solid team for the ACC, but there have little to no chance of winning a title again unless they change with the times.

The idiocy is thinking Clemson Texas was a good game. Tell me again how many possessions did Clemson have the ball in the second half where they didn't trail by at least 2 touchdowns?

Also. This is the first time you have used the portal and you signed a WR SE Missouri State and the DE from Purdue, who is legit. You see -- the rest of CFB has been doing this for years, while Clemson fell behind.

At least you guys play in the ACC though, so you can stay relevant there.
