OU and A&M doing it is CFB tradition, though I do laugh when their fans do it even when they are not playing Texas. You can add the old SWC guys also.

Definitely. If you have history I completely get it.

Fun fact:

SEC will penalize the opposing team 15!yards for doing the gator chomp, but not for Horns down

i really think it's not Texas fans that get upset.. I'm starting to think it's opposing fans who get upset that Texas fans aren't upset when they do it to them lol

in '23 in Tuscaloosa.. there were upside down bevos everywhere.. there were booths handing out Horns Down buttons that Bama fans would clip to their shirts.. Everytime we would pass Bama fans walking.. we would get the Horns Down... as if magically we were supposed to drop into a fetal position or hiss and run away like a Vampire seeing a crucifix. We smiled, said HookEm while doing the HookEm..

Michigan were doing the same thing, but they were much more playful with it.. they somehow combined it with the Michigan M sign..

So as we continue to venture into opposing stadiums in the SEC and other blueblood schools in OOC play, I'm ready to hear Horns Down isn't a penalty as we attend tailgates, or seeing a huge amount of fans doing it on the walk to the stadium and into our seats... at the end of the game.. HookEms in the air always outnumber the upside down ones :)
 
Can someone please post days/times/network for each playoff game? Please? I said "please", for Heaven's sake!...
