It looks like both Clemson and Ole Miss are going to lose both their OC and DC in the offseason and I'm not sure about Clemson but Ole Miss is losing some of its better players to the draft.

I don't think Dabo can pivot fast enough and his old school approach is going to need to change or they won't get back to where they were. He also lost his recruiting coordinator and that may be the biggest hit of all.

Kiffin can pivot but he is going to be replacing both coordinators, his starting QB, best running back and multiple other spots. It feels like a rebuild is coming starting next season at Ole Miss and that isn't something Kiffin has had to deal with in the SEC as he has always come in with a pretty decent cupboard.

Who else is getting hit this hard?

Dabo might prove me wrong, but I think Clemson’s run is over. It was a damn good run that every Clemson fan and really, any fan of a non blue blood should be proud of. But Dabo’s staff has had impossibly low turnover over the years, and now it’s a mass exodus. At the very least, this is gonna be the greatest challenge Dabo has ever faced

OCs and DCs are big deals, but the lesser known assistants that get poached are big deals too. Those are the guys that are usually putting in the work recruiting.

UGA lost both coordinators before the 2019 season. Struck out on the OC hire who was one and done and replaced by Todd Monken. The DC hire is gonna be the HC at Oregon next year. But I’m not at all worried about the next DC. Glenn Schumann has earned the job and Muschamp is on staff as well

I think this is at least the 5th time that Clemson has begun cycling out.

I think the players are a bigger deal for Ole Miss. Kiffen will put out a good offense. Durkin hasn’t produced many good defenses, when Muschamp isn’t calling plays. Kiffen was quite loud about his interest in the Miami job, I think that is going to back fire on Lane. Karma is a bitch and Lane deserves every bit of it

Both teams deserve it.

It's the first time I felt it was the case.

Losing the coaches is going to happen at a program that has had success like Clemson but this "feels' very different and feels more like when Jimbo started bleeding coaches at FSU. Also, you have to add in Dabo's inexplicable decision not to use the portal plus the NIL pressure that is going on and it's not a perfect storm for Clemson but you are on tornado watch at least.

Not to mention the regression of their o-line. That needs to be addressed ASAP. When the o-line goes, the rest of the offense will soon follow. They probably beat UGA in week one if they had a solid o-line, but DJU was getting hit on nearly every drop back and forget about trying to run the ball there

Dabo needs to go to the NFL. He doesn't seem cutout for the new CFB landscape.

Kiffin is super savvy so I expect him to hire young guys that are bang-up recruiters and two guys I'd look at for defense are:

Travis Williams
Tarvaris Robinson

Regardless Ole Miss to me is in a two-year rebuild. Matt Luke doesn't get the credit he deserves for continuing what Freeze started and under tough circumstances. I have a ton of respect for Luke.

It's becoming a mirror image of Jimbo's FSU and if can happen there it can happen at Clemson and probably faster.

If I'm him I try hiring a guy like Kendal Briles with the promise he is the future, announce he is coaching just two more years and then retire and become an analyst for the SEC Network. Stoops did it right and Dabo should use that model as I don't see him in the NFL.

Clemson has been an oddity. They have never really had a good OL, just bad ass QBs that made them look much better than they were

There are without a doubt concerns. However, time after time again people have doubted whether or not he would be able to sustain it all. Shit, I've doubted some of his past hires, but all he's done is keep everything rolling. Sure there's a lot more going on this offseason. Maybe his run does slow down, but I have zero reason to doubt him at this point in time.

if i'm him, I don't take advice from a poster on hooplanation

Eh. They've never had great olines, but they've been solid. This year was abysmal and is the biggest reason the offense struggled.
