Coaching Carousel 2024 season

That was UCLA’s problem.
They let him call plays.

Edit.
I know. It worked against Nebraska

Board of Regents meeting in Stillwater tomorrow on the future of the football program. Being reported that at a minimum Gundys perpetual 5 year contract that rolls over every year is changing.

He is the name the media would scream as proof of racism because he didn’t get a HC job. I think we’ve proven it was Andy Reid in KC at this point.
yep

he left KC on his own because he wanted to prove that he could be a successful playcaller. since then, he's been fired twice in two years.

he bet on himself and he lost. He should have stayed in KC and hoped that someone would have been desperate enough to give him a chance. 0% chance it happens now.

What's the problem?

He already jettisoned his OC and DC. It was ALL their fault.

Right?

3rd longest tenured FBS corch.

lmao

it isn't high or genuine. he did the interview to apply pressure to the NFL.

That would be like having the Checkers job opening and trying to hire the Chess legend.

K so after the initial chuckle… Maybe it’s not a bad move.
I mean, if CFB is moving closer to looking like the NFL model (seems to be) maybe this is a smarter move that it seems 🤔

I don’t think they will fire him but I think the permanent 5 year contract is gone. I also think if his buyout was 10 mil or less he would be gone.

I refuse to believe any of this is true

So it’s being reported that Mike Gundy will be fired for cause if he doesn’t retire or accept a different contract with a lot of stipulations.

Same.

I do remember when Mack was hired that the rationale was that he would stabilize the program and would be able to name a suitable successor. Obviously that didn't happen

I just can’t picture BB recruiting or dealing with NIL or the transfer portal!

And UNC decides to go with a youth movement changing from a guy born in 1951 to a much younger guy that was born in 1952!!!
