IF it's true, Joe Castiglione is already planning something. Hmmmm. Something is nagging me about how the OU program has been coasting for a couple of years. Something's not right. I've talked to a lot of people and they tell me the same thing: whatever's missing has been gone for awhile. Yeah our D sucks in too many games and now our O is not as hot as it used to be but there's a lot of things (some little and some not so little) that are making a lot of us leery we are going to have a difficult time making the transition to the SEC. And this is all about a program that was preseason #2 with the leading Heisman Trophy candidate that has looked like shit too many times this season. Maybe Riley's bailing out for more than just the $$$. Who knows? The recruiting has looked good in spite of whatever might have been happening. Let's just say a prayer for Joe Castiglione if the SHTF and then hope for the best.

I hope you are right. This is just my opinion, but I would rather not have that B12 goober here. LSU has enuf problems right now to be turned into a Big 12 team.

It was word for word from the Brett McMurphy troll account I fell for a half hour earlier, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

That being said, I heard some insider stuff that they had a team meeting today and he told them he wasn't leaving and to focus on winning and playing in the CCG. He was pretty wishy washy about after the season is over though. Take as much stock in it as the tweet but there is a lot of smoke going on right now.

Instead of playing Friends in Low Places tomorrow we need to go with Calling Baton Rouge.

Dykes is meh as a coach but he is bringing Rashad Samples with him who is his primary recruiter. 4* WR out of Dallas a decade ago and his dad is a HS coach in the area. He was responsible for pulling in kids from the area SMU had no business pulling in and will do the same at TCU. He was a OSU signee who didn't work out and I really hope there were no hard feelings with him and Gundy when he transferred out because I would really love to snipe him off that staff. My guess is in a year or two someone like Texas A&M will make him a millionaire running back coach so it's probably moot.

TCU bout to become TPU...Transfer Portal University.

Dykes was able to bring a lot of former DFW kids back to SMU after they scattered to all parts of the country. Not sure the back story of all of 'em but several didn't work out at their original school.
 
People on the Iowa State 247 boards are saying Matt Campbell turned down USC.

I normally wouldn't care but apparently over the last day or so on the VT boards, they've been saying it looks like Campbell is a very real possibility for us. So if that's true, thank you for turning down Southern California, Matt, and you're also nuts
