Does anyone have an opinion of Josh Pastner? I only remember him from Memphis, and don't even remember seeing him coaching for GT.

i don't think he did a good job at GT, but that program has chronically underperformed for twenty years so maybe the problem isn't the coach.

his Memphis results essentially mirrors Penny. i think he could do well at UNLV. i'm assuming UNLV has a healthy NIL budget.

Healthy compared to what it was, sure. There is money in Vegas, but for winners. I think most boosters are in a bit of a holding pattern. I don't know how anyone can really break through at UNLV unless they bring outside corporate NIL support.

I’ll see if I can find the article. Looks like BYU is going all in on hoops NIL. $3 million for a Baylor transfer. No telling what that top recruit is getting. Plus the guys returning.

Kansas is probably the only Big 12 school that can/will go to that level. We shall see.

He's built for the NIL era, but the MWC losing a bunch of teams hurts and it hurts a lot.
