So, before the rankings come out tomorrow evening, your only exam question is what order would you rank these 2 loss SEC teams? NOT WHAT YOU THINK THE COMMITTEE WILL DO. What would you do? You don't have to provide the ranking numbers, just which teams would be above which teams and which teams behind which teams.

These are not in my order, just the teams you have to list in your preferred order.

Alabama
Georgia
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Texas A&M

Georgia
Alabama
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Texas A&M

The order you listed is fine

I was just thinking that if I was on the committee, I am not sure how I would rank those SEC two loss teams.
Alabama beat Georgia
Georgia beat Texas (I know only 1 loss)
Georgia beat Tennessee
Ole Miss beat Georgia
Tennessee beat Alabama

I might be missing some, and I didn't even count the mediocre/bad losses.

I’m not sure how I’d rank them either. All have losses and or warts.

Who did they lose to? Good teams or lesser one?

Who have they beaten? Good teams or a bunch of so-so/bad teams.

I tend to give less credit to record if they’ve played a weaker schedule. I also take credit away for losses to meh teams.

Georgia
Alabama
TAM
Ole Miss
Tenn

Alabama
Tennessee
Georgia
Ole Miss
Texas A&M

On a neutral field, this is my best guess. I think Bama is the clear #1 and the rest are really a tossup.

On a neutral field, I believe they are all tossups. I think there isn't five cents difference in any of them. They have all won a big game and they have all lost a big game. Put the names in a hat and pick two.

Losses by those teams (per latest AP poll):
Alabama - Vanderbilt (NR) and Tennessee (10)
Georgia - Alabama (7) and Ole Miss (9)
Ole Miss - Kentucky (NR) and LSU (NR)
Tennessee - Arkansas (NR) and Georgia (8)
Texas A&M - Notre Dame (6) and South Carolina (19)

So I'd put the order as:
Georgia
A&M
Tennessee
Alabama
Ole Miss

Georgia

Alabama
Texas A&M

TA&M

Georgia

and the rest

I agree because of the losses. I might switch Tennessee and Bama. That Arkie loss by the Vols has more stinch on it than the Bama loss to Vandy imo.

The one I wouldn’t want to play RIGHT NOW is Ole Miss.

If i were ranking teams based on how scared of them I am, I'm going UGA, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Bama, A&M. If only we had a complete QB that wasn't stuck on 3rd string.

Just a few things that I have been thinking about. This is not meant to degrade anyone's team, and my way of thinking is probably way off. I used the Massey Composite Ratings as this one ranks all teams, and it compiles a lot of rankings. The Colley average opponents' rank was also used. I also counted teams beating Missouri.

#6 Georgia
beat #3 Texas
beat #15 Clemson
beat #12 Tennessee
lost to #4 Alabama
lost to #9 Ole Miss
Colley avg. opponent rank: 53.8

#4 Alabama
beat #6 Georgia
beat #13 South Carolina
beat #26 Missouri
lost to #12 Tennessee
lost to #34 Vanderbilt
Colley avg. opponent rank: 47.9

#9 Ole Miss
beat #6 Georgia
beat #13 South Carolina
lost to #24 LSU
lost to #64 Kentucky
Colley avg. opponent rank: 68.0

#12 Tennessee

lost to #6 Georgia
lost to #53 Arkansas
Colley avg. opponent rank: 74.9

LSU only counts if you lose to them?
