College Football Report's regular season record predictions ,- P4 teams

Georgia has a brutal road slate. Not seeing it. Would be impressive though.

LSU ain't going 10-2
LSU has less than nothing on defense and now they are back to zero on offense.

Oklahoma at 7-5 sounds about right. An 8-4 season would be really good with the horrid schedule the SEC handed them. Everyone at OU is expecting next year's team to be seriously good, even great. I mean on the level of possibly winning the SEC in their second SEC season and contending for a National Championship. But if OU falls on its ass this year and next year too, Venables is gone. Oklahoma's in the SEC now; there will be no tolerance for under performance.

Oregon at 11-1 sounds about right. I expect them to split the games between OSU/UM

Add another loss in the CCG @ Indianapolis and a playoff seed around 8/9

I would hope Ohio st can win 2 out of 3 between Oregon, Penn St and scUM but you never know. Only one of those at home

If Okie St goes 11-1 there is a lot of money to be made on a team that is 250-1 to win a natty.

Man, the Tar Heels must have a suckass team this season. Predicting 6 wins. I am not saying they should be great, but a schedule with teams like:
Charlotte
NC Central
James Madison (maybe iffy)
Duke
Wake Forest
Boston College

That has to be 6 wins with possibly another here or there.

2025 has been the target since he took over. I still think 8-4 is the floor this season though.

I also think Rutgers could do more than 3 wins. Some media folks have them doing way more with the schedule they have. No Michigan, no Ohio State, no Oregon, no Penn State. They should be able to win at least three of these games:
Howard
Akron
UCLA has to travel coast to coast (how good is UCLA?)
Illinois
Maryland
Michigan state

Wisconsin has 4 chalk losses (Alabama, Oregon, USC, and Penn St.). Maybe winning one of those and tripping up somewhere along the way gets them to 8 wins. I'll take the under and hope I am wrong.

Even though you guys have to go to LA, I think that game sets up well for you guys. You have a bye the week prior to playing them. They will be coming off a game at Michigan so they should be ripe for picking!

Aug. 31 vs. Fresno State (W)
Sept. 7 vs. Texas (W)
Sept. 14 vs. Arkansas State (W)
Sept. 21 vs. USC (W)
Sept. 28 vs. Minnesota (W)
Oct. 5 at Washington (W)
Oct. 12 Idle
Oct. 19 at Illinois (W)
Oct. 26 vs. Michigan State (W)
Nov. 2 vs. Oregon (W)
Nov. 9 at Indiana (W)
Nov. 16 Idle
Nov. 23 vs. Northwestern (W)
Nov. 30 at Ohio State (W)

If I am adding it up correctly, that's 12-0. Now you may call me delusional or a fool - I don't care!!!! GO BLUE!!!!

I'd actually be happy if we are 1-11 as long as that victory is against ohio state ... better yet a victory against an undefeated ohio state!!!

If Rutgers ends 3-9 w/o having to play tOSU, Michigan, Oregon and Penn State...................................

So FSU is going to lose only 1 more game? :dhd:

BYU, Indiana, Colorado, Az State, Scar seem like low-hanging fruit
