Yes, Darian Hagan was the kid that took over for Aunese. He was from Central LA and QB'd them to the natty. McCartney was a former Michigan assistant who did well. He was also one of the founders of the Promise Keepers but eventually was exposed for an extra-marital affair

The 30 for 30 on McCartney and those Buffs teams was one of the better one's IMO. The Gospel According to Mac. Them being elite was a little before my time, but learning about some of that history and backstory was really compelling.
