Colorado's star of the spring game...is now.. gone

This is so fucking funny. Look, if you think running off 60 of your 85 scholarship players is a good idea, you are an idiot. These are kids that wanted to be at Colo because they like the school. What is Deon bringing in?

- A bunch of guys who were, at best, 2 deep. More likely these guys were 3 or 4 on the depth chart.
- A bunch of guys who are excited about Deon's attitude ... I am sure that "me first" attitude will be great for building a team culture.
- A bunch of guys who could care less about Colorado as a school, and while that is somewhat less important in today's environment, it is still something you want for the core of your team.

I get that you would break records seeing how bad they were last year. But, he's running off players that are better than the guys he is brining in who wanted to go to Colorado.

If you look at the most successful teams in CFB - UGA, Bama, Clemson, tOSU, UM - the common theme is that they all have great team culture. This ain't the way to do it. I will stick to what I have said before - Deon's narcissism will keep him from ever being a big time CFB coach.

These kids sucked ass at winning football games.

You have no idea if they like the school any more than the kids who will take the schollys they no longer want.

They went to the P5 school that gave them an offer. And there weren’t many teams who were worse.

You may be right, but I am guessing there were some that liked Colo. I mean it's a great school to go to. But, sure, it's not like I interviewed them.

I still think I am right that that Deon will have a really hard time putting together a cohesive team. They currently have lost 63 of the 83 scholarship players they had last year. That's ungood, no matter how bad the team was. Hell, one of the players he brought with him from JSU just went into the portal.

Lol look at that doofus
I think I had those shoes when they were new.

By new, I mean after the flawed ones made their way to the outlet mall.

Never gonna catch me in a cowboy hat, or those tight fittin in the calf sweatpants. No sir. But I’d wear those shoes again.

I don’t know how anyone that’s okay with winter wouldn’t like being in Boulder. What a beautiful place to be.

No disagreement on Prime having issues putting a team together this season. They’re gonna stink. Urban Meyer couldn’t get that program to field a solid team in year one.

The transfer that made it a semester hitting the portal is funny af for sure.

He’s blowing up a bad program. If he wins 9 games the next three years, he did the same as the last guy. If he goes 5-7, he might get Mel Tucker money.

lol i'd love to see where the mass exodus of players land..
Akron, UNLV, Fresno State, Central Florida, Buffalo, Utah State, Washington State, New Mexico and Nebraska.

Calling it.

So far ...

FSU, Cal, Nevada, Utah, Ark State, UTSA, Maryland, Boise, Charlotte, Southern Ill, then a shit ton that just went in.

lol if he wins just 4 games..he's already doing a terrific job lol
They won 1 game last season.....3 games would be a great job.

And just because the players he ran off had more experience doesn't necessarily mean they were better players. Given how awful they were last year, I don't think it's a stretch to say they wouldn't have started for the majority of P5 teams (hell, most of FBS). And we're talking about a receiver with 359 yards on 23 catches, with a third of those yards coming against a bad Cal team.

It has to be right up there near the top because Iowa is having riotous fun in Iowa City these days.
At least it isn't a robot protest.
