There’s a Lafayette that doesn’t have the Cajun pronunciation, and there’s a Houston County just outside of Macon pronounced Howston

I read over this new law and I am struggling to see what the hubbub is? They are requiring more restrictions for ID's for absentee and mail in ballots. You can't give people snacks who are waiting in line and they are offering weekend early voting.

The only issue I see is the State's ability to take over up to 4 counties during the election process.

The one thing I will say for Manfred, not really in support of him, is that he is mostly a puppet to the owners. If you want to blame anyone, its the owners. In this situation, Manfred was most likely given his walking orders.

You think the owners all piled up on him that quickly? I don't really know their makeup but I doubt they have a super majority of far lefties.

I really doubt the commish is making a call like that without the owners in the know.
