Congress introduces "Name and Likeness" bill

Oh goody! Anything the politicians get involved with is always made so much better. Greed is killing things in sports from coach's salaries, to players' expectation for their locker rooms and training facilities, to fans' demands in the stadiums, to the broadcasters' policies, etc. Someday this whole thing is going to vapor lock.

Everyone should be able to earn money on their name and likeness if there’s a market. Players getting in trouble for selling their own stuff is ridiculous

AJ Green was suspended for 4 games for selling his jersey from some also ran bowl and Todd Gurley was suspended 4 games for selling autographs. We’ve had players with drug charges suspended for a half against cupcakes

No one cares about the rules until you start taking money from the NCAA overlords. Then it's serious bidness.

Federal Gubment being typical "Day late and a dollar short" - I am not being political, just honest!
