It's not a preference. It's economically superior. Buying TP, Paper towels, diapers, wipes, etc., at regular a grocery store is retarded, and I'd pay the membership fees just to avoid Wal-Mart altogether.

You're a family man, so it makes sense. I'm a "convenience" guy. The supermarket I go to regularly is much closer than any CostCo or Sams Club. There's also a BJ's Wholesale Club (like a Costco or Sam's) store in my area. But it's just easier for me to go to the supermarket.
Plus, since I live in a 2 bdr condo, storage areas are not all that big to store a lot of "big quantity" items, although in 2020 during the plandemic's "Great TP/Paper Towel Shortage of 2020", I DID stack some cases of TP/PaperTowels in my home office!!
I keep a box of fuck wipes near the bed. You never know when @Camfantasy ’s gramma is gonna visit

The feed store started carrying Fruit of the Loom. No more BVDs for me.
That's cool. I Used to go to Sam's, but soon realized it was just another store I was going to. For me it wasn't worth the membership cost. I stock up on stuff at the grocery store when its on sale.
