From one camera angle, you see Sawyer clearly swat the ball loose, then shove Ewers to the turf, and proceed to scoop and score.

Looked like he was more worried about Cody Simon on that play than Jack Sawyer for some reason. He stayed straight away too long and by the time he turned his hips, it was too late

This stat is 100% true - the last time an opponent was called for oline holding was week 3 vs Marshall.

This stat is also 100% true - Ohio State is 134 out of 134 in opponent penalties. Everyone must be perfect against Ohio State.

Scott was the one I forgot about. I remembered the Fryar one. Totally avoidable. D linemen went low and Fryar wrapped his arms around him. He should have just fell down on top of him lol

I just looked and hopefully I didn’t miss a penalty. OSU was called for 1 holding penalty and that was on Eubuka a WR. Texas had the face mask called on a WR blocking, which I am sure you preferred to a hold. Neither OL got a holding call. That is crazy, but fair

Josh Fryar was called for a holding on a Judkins run

I am not an advocate for lots of flags/holding calls. A game is super annoying when that happens (see Chargers/Texans last night) but it is a crazy stat with Ohio States opponents NEVER being called for them with how good Ohio States front seven is

Most of that is in the Big 10 and I didn’t watch all your games. I have noticed the Big 10 refs do not call many holds. That makes sense for a league known for OL play (have to protect your image). I don’t think there is much to say on this game. I did go back and found the hold. It was on a run play. Amazing given all the pressure that DL got on QBs that there wasn’t a single hold called on a pass rush. That’s just insane
