Would that be overall capitalization for the crypto market, or is that asset appreciation? I think the former.

There are now over a hundred cryptos and new ones are created every day and money is pouring into those scams. For you to posit this as some form of appreciation is disingenuous. Idiots see the flashy coins and decide to jump in. The driver for this is new money coming into the crypto market, including yours.
