The numbers they refer to say that OBJ made only 34k on his 750k salary due to the drop in BTC. But in order to get those numbers you have to make a bunch of assumptions that I'm not sure anybody could really know.
Even if 100% true somehow, that dude is worth like $25 million. "Losing" that much doesn't really hurt him, especially if he's holding it long term.
Try some perspective. $1.3B from the hundreds of thousands of banks and companies around the world vs. 30% of that from hackable accounts and exchanges.
I'd say your crypto investments are at serious risk.
