Crypto

okay, so you gave me a bullshit, but didn't refute anything i said. so we're now going to altcoins from crypto.... i'm just here to learn, but you don't seem to want to drop any knowledge.
Read the Bitcoin Standard. I challenge you. If you’re here to learn, start there. :thumb: Sorry if I lumped you in with Dole and his fascinating mixture of trolling, ignorance and stubborn refusal to learn.

fuck, i have to read a book you suggest to learn this isn't bullshit? is it available for free somewhere? I'd imagine it should be if it's purpose is to help bilk poor people out of their money. my incredulity of the source was that you listed it and it was their only hit. So i would expect someone big on crypto to suggest a resource that is big on bitcoin, no? that said, I will read it if you think it sells the value of crypto currency as a legitimate commodity, again, a free link or if it's available via the library system would be appreciated.

searched hoopladigital, the top two results were summaries of the bitcoin standard, i don't know what to make of that. it doesn't inspire confidence, but i would like to read what led you to this money maker.

I’m not selling the value of cryptocurrency; just Bitcoin. That’s the first lesson. You have Bitcoin and then you have all other cryptocurrency. You’ll quickly learn why it’s separate and distinct.

Calling Bitcoin a money maker is extremely simplistic.

If you want to know what led me to Bitcoin, it was investing in crypto then I started watching Michael Saylor interviews, then read the top three books.

I’ll post one of my favorites below. (disregard the silly clickbait thumbnail)

Take an hour and watch this. Don’t give up, watch the whole thing. If you’re not fascinated, it’s probably not for you. Yet.

I’m wondering what people who know more about this than me think about the way Bitcoin is acting in the face of inflation. It’s admittedly a new asset that has not faced inflation in its lifetime and I had heard that it was thought to be a good hedge against inflation (similar to gold). However, it doesn’t appear to be acting that way. Does this surprise anyone?

I wonder if, when money or coins were a new thing if ordinary marauders and early people, I wonder if they were scratching their heads about coinage the way I scratch my head about crypto?
I think we should just say eff it and go back to the barter system!

"The illusion of rarity" has been the key to every new currency craze.

People are dumping riskier, less volatile assets imo.

I don’t think that’s it. I think it’s acting more like a growth stock (which are all getting hammered now) as opposed to a more traditional hedge against inflation. I see all “risky” investments getting hammered in this current market. Some more than Bitcoin.

I scalped it this morning and made $900 and took my wife to a seafood restaurant on the coast and ate and drank like royalty. I woke up at literally the perfect moment. Zero skill, all luck by I’ll take my grand in profits.

That said, it’s going to .24
It’s at 0.24. Now what do I do?

The Fed has all the power in the world. We're headed for a global recession. It can be kinda' bad or a complete nightmare, depending on how much $ the Fed takes off its balance sheet.

The entire world has been put in a position to suck the Fed's dick, and the Fed doesn't like crypto. So, I'm not feelin' too optimistic for the falling price of Bitcoin. $30k in the next few weeks.
