I disagree.

For once I have to agree with Rex here. I think the riders are the same as F1, NASCAR, etc, As well as skydivers and the like. They do it for the thrill, the speed, the competition, etc, and accept that they could be injured or die, but certainly don't do it for the sake of risk of death.
