NFL teams like to have mobile QB's, but not running QB's. What Justin Fields is doing is great, but he won't last in the NFL if he keeps running like he is. Those hits wear on a player's body and open the teams most important player and likely the highest paid player (the QB) to getting injured.

Imagine the Chiefs paying $50 million of whatever the obnoxious amount Mahomes is paid, gets hurt running the football. The team is now without their QB and the guy who takes up almost 1/3 of their salary cap.

Fields needs to use his ability while he continues to learn to throw in the NFL. He has lots of potential but the previous coaching staff were kind of suffocating him.

In college -- these QB's are playing in simplified version of a spread where they are making essentially one read and throwing. Rarely are they having to go thru progressions, especially the teams with the talent advantages.

It is why you usually see every QB struggle in their first year to get acclimated to the league. Those built in advantages they had in college are no longer there. They are learning new offenses, they are learning new defenses played against them and they are getting used to throwing to WR's that are covered and they have to throw them open.

It's unfortunate, we'll never really know. He certainly had the physical talents.

The first is always remembered just like the most recent. Every NFL fan knows the first super bowl champion, every baseball fan who won the first world series, etc. Others are forgotten the farther you get away from them, but the first is always remembered

I’m a diehard baseball fan and I couldn’t tell you who won the first WS without looking it up

Work ethic was Haskins biggest issue for the NFL, IMO. He just simply didn't have the will to put in the necessary hours to become an NFL QB. So now you have a young kid with millions of dollars who has more free time than he should. Not a good combo

I didn't know they were the Americans but I still knew Boston won it. Did they just eventually change their name or move to a different city before the Red Sox took over? I do know Philadelphia wasn't the Sixers when they won the first ever NBA championship but had to look up their actual name

They changed name to Redsox a few year later. I had to look it up, but it was like 3 years after winning the WS

Yeah, had someone asked me for the full name of the team, I definitely would have said Red Sox. Probably the first time I learned it as a kid I was told/read it was the Americans, but all that stuck with me was Boston

My grandfather was a huge Braves fan. I have no idea why but I do remember him always being so pissed anytime they weren't playing well. Had I continued to follow baseball, I'd probably be an Atlanta fan bc i would watch games with him a lot when I was over there
