Did anyone see Ohio State made the CFP?

OSU may have to rely on those WR screens against Georgia. Will be interesting to see how OSU's OL holds up against Georgia defensive front.

They've never worked all year really against anyone, why would they work against UGA? lol. That's Ryan Day level thinking "well its never worked but we gotta rely on it, its our plan!"

Day needs to figure out how to effectively use Slants and quick type routes instead of always trying to throw deep (when its not a screen)

I think they will do ok in pass protection. Ohio States line is really good in pass protection. It's whether they can open up running lanes to keep Georgia from just pinning their ears back and going full after Stroud

Run blocking seems to only really work when its a straight forward up the gut type run.

Of course naturally we try to run a bunch of outside slow developing run plays that never really work though.

What?

Toss sweep to a LB on 4th down isn't a good play?

We needed to run more against Michigan. Had 126 yards in the first half and Traynum was hitting holes well. Not sure why we seemed to give up on it in the second half

They went away from the runs that were working was the problem. They didn't really give up on it, they just put themselves in holes by running those stupid shotgun pitch plays and WRs screens to where they weren't able to run like they were in the 1st half.

Ill give Day credit that sometimes he at least realizes its legal to lineup under center on short yardage situations. Now the play call usually sucks, but that's a lot more than can be said for a lot of other college coaches.

What's up with your OC ... he gone, right? Is that a good or bad thing? Does Day call plays?

He is staying for the playoff but he is gone to Tulsa. Day is the playcaller.

Losing coaches can be a distraction. We've had to deal with it a number of times.

Kinda gotten used to it. Think last season was the first in awhile we didn't lose someone (fired some but that's different)

Urban loved him some shotgun short yardage.

See, now what would be nice is if our QB would use his fucking legs (which he absolutely has the ability to do) to pick up a damn 3rd and 5 every once in a while instead of staying in the pocket. If he doesn't at least try 5-6 runs against UGA we probably will be lucky to score 14. Whoever the QB is next year had better be able to fucking scramble sometimes.

In the 2nd half -- Michigan made adjustments and took away the runs that were working. You guys ran the ball 9 times for 17 yards in the 2nd half.

I think you surprised UM with Traynum in the 1st half.

Not gonna happen. CJ will just panic in the pocket and either take sacks or make awful desperation heaves down the field. It's way too in his head not to run for that to change for 1 or 2 games.

I'm hoping for a transfer honestly.

McCord needs to go and I'm not loving what I've heard from Brown.

And that's on Day
