Actually, the Tampa defense was the real MVP. Mahomes didn't even throw a TD pass and the Chief's offense looked impotent.

Yep, their defense was tops but still Brady drove the Bucs to the initiative and Chiefs were forced to play catch up.

I'm suppose the media probably didn't emphasize often enough in their recaps the job of the Bucs defense. It was indicated during the game though.

You can't ignore Brady's 3-TD performance in the first half. No dominant defensive player qualified for the MVP. Two guys each had one interception. No one with more than one sack. No forced fumbles/recoveries. And KC chipped in with 11 penalties of 120 yards. They fucked up their own offense by letting Brady stay on the field. Great Bucs team defensive effort though.
