San Angelo State could still be had.Perhaps the SEC should have picked up Baylor and TCU.

fixedThey should just go back to the conference lineups of 1989 and call it a day
Nah, 12 teams is the perfect number for a conference and only one conference mattersfixed
that's heavy praise for C-USANah, 12 teams is the perfect number for a conference and only one conference matters
Your best post. EVER.They should just go back to the conference lineups of 2009 and call it a day
Then I change my mind. I want the SEC to go to 50 teamsYour best post. EVER.
Should’ve taken either SMU/Houston and TTU. SMU cuz of their history with cheating, UH cuz they’re usually overrated/underachieve.
The Red Raiders are some crazy, tortilla-tossing mofos. They’d fit right in at the SEC.
and tbh, 12 team conferences fucking sucked. just b/c they're better than 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 team conferences doesn't take away from that fact.Nah, 12 teams is the perfect number for a conference and only one conference matters
I still prefer the 12 team model with divisions. UGA doesn’t need to play Mississippi State every year, but with 12 teams, every recruiting class would still play them at least once.and tbh, 12 team conferences fucking sucked. just b/c they're better than 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 team conferences doesn't take away from that fact.
Conferences are better when they're 9-10 teams. everyone plays each other, round robin in basketball, etc. it's just better. especially now that the NCAA has lightened their requirements on conference championship games.

12 team conferences, 8 conference games and a requirement of two P5 OOC games every year would be my preference. I like a little variety in the schedule every year
I think there would be if ALL fan bases would do what the A&M fan base did yesterday. I don't see it happening though. Too many are willing to show up and watch whatever the ADs/Coaches want them to watch. It was nice but with new SEC format, I like 3-9-9 schedule. I wish there was more cross conference OOC games.
In a lot of cases, the cupcakes are the only tickets some of the fans can afford to take their family to. They serve a purpose, there’s not gonna be many drunk and rowdy fans and it’s usually a sure win to take kids to.I think there would be if ALL fan bases would do what the A&M fan base did yesterday. Guess they weren’t even willing to take their families to the A&M game yesterday. In a lot of cases, the cupcakes are the only tickets some of the fans can afford to take their family to. But then you have situations like the SEC forcing UGA to cancel their home and home with Oklahoma that started next season leaving UGA with no alternative but to add another sister of the poor on the schedule so there’s three instead of the usual two.
Dads don’t wanna see male cheerleadersGuess they weren’t even willing to take their families to the A&M game yesterday.
