NFL done screwed up. Now they have to put a price on how much it wants to conceal all of the WFT emails (and all of the other 31 teams who could be implicated) who have spewed bigoted views in what they thought was a private setting. I'm guessing Gruden gets $25 million, though we'll never know for sure.

The NFL thought it was doing something morally right, but that they could do it with surgical precision and make it solely about Jon Gruden and Bruce Allen. It could've just sent Gruden a private message that such conduct would not be tolerated going forward and have that be the end of it.

I was probably off with the $25 million settlement estimate. It's more likely to be twice that much, since Gruden will probably never work around pro football again.

They destroyed his career and I don't believe Goodell has any morals. He is more interested in kissing up to BLM for political reasons.
