First nest of Asian 'murder hornets' vacuumed out of tree in United States
Agricultural department workers wearing protective suits have eradicated the first nest of giant "murder hornets" discovered in the United States, vacuuming them out of a tree in Washington state. The nest of Asian giant hornets was found on Thursday by Washington State Department of Agriculture

They got one nest. I don't see how they can be stopped though. They seem to be in the NW of Canada and its not like that's an easy place to track flying insects.
