Do any of you non Christians get offended when someone wishes you a Merry Christmas?

I say happy thanksgiving to people...are the alternative holidays that I should consider in November?

you are comparing apples and oranges, Will
What if the person is a foreign national and doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving? What if they have no friends and family and your comment triggers feelings of loneliness and despair? Seems awfully insensitive of you to not think about that.

then be a good person and invite them over...like a good Christian would

if you want to be proactive, don't wish anyone Happy anything without knowing for sure.

or you just say Happy Holidays from October to January

certainly sounds like if you are wishing everyone "Merry Christmas" and ignoring the fact that they don't celebrate Christmas, you aren't really caring about others

That would sound like that to you.

I imagine the lonely and suicidal will be triggered whether your comment is religiously neutral or not. Better not to communicate at all.

I am atheist, but Good will and peace on earth seems to be most alive on Christmas Eve

maybe you're right

maybe we shouldn't even say "Happy Holidays"

Christmas is a fake holiday anyway. Jesus was born in the Spring.
