Do any of you non Christians get offended when someone wishes you a Merry Christmas?

Of course you did because liberals give themselves outs for everything. Zero personal integrity.

4 years.

Unless Projected winner Joe Biden loses then you have to rock one for 4 years but it is what it is.

Ok, knock yourself out looking at your hero pumping iron every day.

I wouldn't understand what?

Integrity, not welching etc...it’s your rep. Thought that was big around here. Maybe not so much.

I get your points on this. But I also feel like you frame them as a response to what someone else says.

I play this myself. I try to wait for what they say and repeat it. If not I just go with Happy Holidays. I grew up with Christmas. We do Christmas. But, it’s not any bigger of a deal to me.

An example....a grocery store. I found a while back they coached their cashiers to wish all customers Happy Holidays. Because....there are multiple holidays in December, and their customers celebrate all of them. It’s just smart in that regard. What always gives me a smirk is when the customer in front of me is told Happy Holidays and they get full of indignity and attitude with “Merry Christmas!!!” back to the cashier.

While I agree that this smacks of PC gone wild....it’s also the appropriate way to handle a diverse customer base. How that customer takes or as an attack on Christmas I will never be able to fathom.
this is well said.
To be honest if someone wishes me a Happy Holidays, I simply reply Merry Christmas or sometimes you too. Dont see the point in ruining something someone says in good spirits.
However my point of view on all the PC stuff I have stated comes out if I am having a conversation on the subject with people. (like we are doing on here)

Well, it’s a Christian holiday. How you interpret it and the excuses you make for yourself are irrelevant. You celebrate it. That makes you a welcher to your fake made up atheism you pretend to care about (prob for attention, who knows).
you know the irony here is.....
You seem to be the only one being ignorant. That ignorance towards your own religion while calling out others for not knowing about Christmas is kinda funny. Maybe you should get more in touch with your religion before preaching what you dont know.
What @Guy Incognito is saying is absolutely correct.

Also while talking of ironies.
Are devout Christians supposed to be inviting to those that dont believe in hopes of spreading the word of GOD? Instead of yelling you dont belong? That is like an Atheist walking into Church & you telling them to get out! They have no business being in there.

This might be another thing you might want to learn up on your religion.

There seems to be non religious people on here that know more about your religion than you do....... a possible other irony.
While you explain who belongs & doesnt belong.

Hey Brother.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas :)

Perfectly said. I would have no problems with some of the opinion here....but the stubborn ignorance is ridiculous.

No, I meet Happy Holidays by returning the same. They might not know what I celebrate so they go with that. I return in kind.

And that’s just the thing. A long while back someone with awareness pointed this out. There are other holidays that aren’t at least acknowledged. While it is indeed PC....it’s also kind of right here.

Trust me...we can get together and agree all day on PC as it pertains to comedy and so many other areas. But the “Happy Holidays” thing....I’m not bitching about it.

yeah. There is difference of opinions, which we are all over the place on that & there is just pure ignorance.

Completely get what you are saying.
I guess because I was here when they started telling us "we cant" say Merry Christmas anymore because it is rude we "have" to say Happy Holidays (the whole PC outlook from me) I really dont care for it.
To me if someone says Happy Holidays & I say Merry Christmas. I dont see it as rude. The gave me a general greeting I am giving them what I think back.
Just like if someone gave me a specific greeting. Like some guy says Happy Hanukkah. He gave me a specific greeting. While I am not Jewish. I am also not offended. (why should people be offended) I will wish "him" a happy Hanukkah back. Being specific shouldnt be a big deal. When did wishing happiness upon someone become rude?

I do get your point on being in a Merchant business point of view however. Where you want to seem neutral to all of them. As a personal belief you shouldnt have to hide yourself behind generalizations.

I’ve said happy holidays before and gotten back Merry Christmas. Now I know I can just go with that.

If I’m customer service or something like that though it’s different.

I guess I never read anyone saying you can’t say Merry Christmas. What I’ve seen before is contextual. If you say it back to me in a pleasant way we all move in. It’s the ones I’ve seen who get PISSED and it shows in their tone and body language that can fuck right off.
