I disagree. But you look like a douche in general if you’re under 80 and wear a watch. Our meeting room has a clock on the wall as well

I wore overalls to a 6 figure weddingProbably mentioned but formality reasons are still big.
Watches are outfit accessories for more formal occasions even if they aren't used, especially if you're in a spot where you can't check your phone for time for one reason or another.
I certainly can appreciate that level of wearing who you are in an outfit to such an occasion.I wore overalls to a 6 figure wedding

well thenI wore overalls to a 6 figure wedding
I turned down being a groomsman because I didn’t want to rent a tux or have to stay somewhat lucid. I did wear a collared shirt and my 600 dollar pair of Tony Lama bootsI certainly can appreciate that level of wearing who you are in an outfit to such an occasion.

Yep.But somebody wearing a watch under 80 is a douche??
Nah, but they were brand new, took the tags off. I wore a nice jacket too that covered em up, but I shed that thing as soon as the reception startedWere they at least black overalls?
It's only a tool for time if you have nothing else that does the same.it tells time
it's a tool
it might be an outdated tool, but still a tool
no...even if you have something else that tells time, the watch is still a tool for telling time. It's only a tool for time if you have nothing else that does the same.
But it does make those wearing a watch more of a toolno...even if you have something else that tells time, the watch is still a tool for telling time.
having another option does not make the watch less of a tool
yes... smart watches...

how often are you changing time zones?I at least understand the smart watches, I couldn’t have one because if you give me an anvil and a bowling ball, I could break both of them, but if your time piece doesn’t automatically change for time zone changes or daylight savings, you’re living in the Stone Age
Before Covid, I went to Nashville and Alabama pretty regularlyhow often are you changing time zones?
