Does UGA get a seat at the big boy table now?

Only if you're counting 64, 73 and 78, but everyone knows those are fake titles.
You don't approve of them, but they are not "fake" titles:

1964 = AP and UPI
1973 = UPI
1978 = AP

At least they won the SEC in those years.

Nah, they’re fake and if Bama had any pride they wouldn’t claim them.

If not winning the conference matters, go ahead and hand us that 2017 trophy we were screwed out of since Bama shouldn’t have been in the playoffs to begin with and Tyler Simmons wasn’t offsides when he blocked that punt

I have to take LSU outta there ... Clemson and ohio state with Alabama still on the throne. A consecutive appearance by Georgia and they join the elite. If we (Michigan) can take down ohio state again and make an appearance at the Big Show, we may be able to take the seat from ohio state in 2023 or 2024. One good season doesn't do it.
Michigan has A LOT to replace and should be interesting to see what they can do next year./

Both 2017 Alabama and 2021 Georgia deserve an * for not winning their Conference Championship in the given year, but neither are "fake" Championships. They both won by the rules in play in the given year.

Personally, regardless of desgnated National Championship selectors, I think teams that have Undefeated, Untied Bowl seasons are more worthy than teams that have a loss, have a tie, didn't win their conference, didn't Bowl, Bowled and lost, etc. However, that doesn't make other National Championships "fake".

FWIW, Alabama has 9 Undefeated, Untied Bowl Seasons: 1925, 1930, 1934, 1945, 1961, 1966, 1979, 1992, 2009 and 2020. Penn State is next with 5: 1968, 1969, 1973, 1986 and 1994. Then, there are the others including Georgia with 2: 1946 and 1980.

Let the "National Championship" trophies fall where they may.

An easy OOC Schedule will make things smooth at the beginning, but we play you guys, ohio state, Penn State and Iowa. So we shall see if they are ready.

I think there is a rotation with the West ... We get Iowa and then Nebraska and Illinois. Wisconsin should dump Illinois State and play Michigan!!!

We would dump Colorado State and move our Hawaii game to Hawaii (plug in a bye week and let the fellas go surfing).

Kirby is pushing out Monken.. guess he's going to let Cooper/Peyton/Eli pick the next OC

Funny how the blue bloods and who is considered a blue blood came about. It's like a certain era of CFB and it's only from that certain era of football. It's like if you won multiple titles within the timeframe of the 70's-90's you're considered a blue blood. No one seems to consider Minnesota a blue blood and yet they have something like 7 national titles.

Clemson has a few recent national titles but i dont think they are considered a blue blood

Pushing out Monken would be a mistake. This team did average nearly 40 ppg this season.

I’m hearing the Miami DB coach is headed this way. But the secondary was the weakest link on the team. The front 7 covered their asses most of the season

Alabama and Ohio State are the only blue bloods that have done anything of note in the last 15 years.

Miami and FSU aren’t considered blue bloods. UGA and Clemson could swap natties for the next 20 years and not be considered blue bloods
