Dolphins just ripped off the niners

it's confirmed, Jimmy G is done in San Fran. Wonder which QB they're taking. . .
Has to be Justin Fields right? Lawerence and Wilson are going 1 & 2 so that would mean the top 3 picks are QBs.

Yeah. That is still "All Philadelphia fans booed Mcnabb."
Frustrated Parks And Recreation GIF

Their draft picks are absolutely ridiculous right now.

I would say they are stacking up to get Watson but with all the mess he is in I'm not sure you can make a deal for him right now.

They can hedge. If he gets out of it then Id have to think Houston moves on anyway.

I read this somewhere....

Breaking news!

Merging threads since @GUNS has more :badmin: threads than the original :badmin:

Miami playing chess out there. Moves down 3 spots and picks up multiple 1st for it. Damn.

The Dolphins are a smart organization.

You never know I'm hearing Fields is falling and Mac Jones is rising. I would think it is Fields but who knows.

I actually think Mac is more NFL ready but if Fields were to sit behind JimmyG for a year or two....he has a very high ceiling.

The Dolphins cashed it and did an amazing job doing it then climbing back up for less than half the price, where they will most likely get a weapon for Tua...Chase, Smith or Pitts. Still have a lot of questions about Tua but at least they have a plan and a lot of future capital to potentially make some kind of move if Tua doesn't workout. They are being patient and not making any knee-jerk trades like the Texans...that Tunsil trade was absolutely insane, looking back.

Looks like they netted one extra in that deal as they got 3 for 1 from SF and gave up 2 for 1 to Philly unless I'm reading something wrong.

I just don't trust Mac Jones to be an impact player in the NFL. None of the other Alabama QBs have except maybe Tua to a degree. It's just not that hard to look incredible when you have an NFL offensive line, an NFL wide receiver at every slot, and an NFL running back. In college football just about everyone would be successful with that setup.

Agree, I don't either. Like you said, great OL and multiple WR's that create separation on every single play. Life was easy throwing 3 yard routes and watching those WR's run while having no pressure.

That being said, I think Fields has a lot to work on. That's why I don't think JimmyG is on the trading block even if they select a QB. Let him learn for 2 years.

I didn't watch them a ton but saw plenty of deep passes being hit. Of course that isn't as hard to do when you have guys like Smith.
