Dolphins just ripped off the niners

Agree, I don't either. Like you said, great OL and multiple WR's that create separation on every single play. Life was easy throwing 3 yard routes and watching those WR's run while having no pressure.

That being said, I think Fields has a lot to work on. That's why I don't think JimmyG is on the trading block even if they select a QB. Let him learn for 2 years.
I saw Fields take the team on his shoulders and win games. I never saw Mac Jones do that....to be fair I never saw Joe Borrow have to do that either though.

To be impactful at the next level you have to be able to put the team on your shoulders and will a win.

I didn't watch them a ton but saw plenty of deep passes being hit. Of course that isn't as hard to do when you have guys like Smith.
Or you have all day in the pocket and your receiver is 10 yards in front.

Yeah he is no slouch. He is still an extremely accurate QB, just going to be a lot of adjustments. I just think he is more NFL ready than Fields bc Fields has some mechanical issues and he holds the ball too long at times and making reads. Sit him for 2 years and let him learn imo

That's why I said Fields has a very high ceiling but he has some clear issues. Mechanical issues, holds the ball too long, making reads.

Joe Burrow put his team on his back many times in college...he had greats weapons but Burrow was probably one of the best college QB's I've ever watched that last season.

I do think Mac should be drafted last 1st but with these desperate teams who knows. Some teams are so desperate, like the Giants picking Daniel Jones at 6

I don't think it was a rip off but they better get the franchise QB they are looking for. If this player busts it might be the end of the Shanahan/Lynch regime. I don't know who the pick is and the FO has been good about not letting anything out. I don't believe any of the reports are there. Some are saying Mac Jones others are saying something different. I don't understand trading up to No 3 for Mac Jones. He would have fallen farther than three. Giving up two firsts to move up to no. 3 for Jones was a big price to pay.
