Draft Grades

What is this….graded in a curve?

How can you grade a draft before these players even take the field? It is just draft analysts giving their opinions.
Exactly….so why no bake what you analyze as a bad draft with something worse than a C. It’s all pointless anyway.

Yes it is pointless but always fun to discuss. It's amazing how Jets fans believe this draft will make them legitimate contenders. Too many people buy into the draft narrative.

The so called experts here only gave the Cowboys a B. Most of these folks never played the game or ever worked for an NFL team.

What I advocated has been to grade the analysts from their past predictions/player grading. It would be easy to go back five years and compare the projected big boards and analyses to on field performance after one contract cycle. Most of the famous guys reputations would suffer.

When you’re starving you will grasp onto any possible crumb of sustenance.

The Jets had a damn good draft. But….the remind me of Browns fans at the end of Draft Day….chanting Super Bowl.

I didnt pay attention to all the teams, so dont know about all of them, but the ones I thought nailed it were the Jets, Ravens & Eagles, who all got A grades & comparing the Cowboys draft to that figured would be around a B, so this looks good to me. :thumb:

And how many of the draftees will be playing in the league in five years? But nobody did bad.
This was clearly the best draft ever. Everyone had at least an "okay" draft...

No specific order, but I believe the Chiefs, Eagles, Jets, Packers and Ravens had the best draft value wise.
