Looks like the we picked the wrong week for Tank's outdoor swim lessons. They cancelled yesterday's session, but apparently whomever did it wasn't really looking at the rest of the week's weather, since yesterday will actually wind up being better weather-wise than today is (would have been warmer in the pool without all the rain and cool weather we got yesterday, plus it wasn't actually raining much in the morning). Oh well.

Cleaned up my gutters last night after work, since I noticed that the back ones in particular were getting overtopped in the last big rains. Damn maple seeds were in there. Need to get new gutter guards, as the screens on my old ones have worn out. Will be a project for another time.
 
Tried holding off until tomorrow when it wasn't raining to get a new car battery. Thankfully tho Advance Auto replaces for free. Poor kid. But I wasn't about to do that shit in the rain.

didn't golf...went home, had dinner, watched The Bear...it was not a bad evening.
 
Dodger had a rough 1st day at the new school (my alma mater). 2 new dipshits made it that way. One was a sub in the 1st class of the day. The other was an IT guy who I have history of not getting along with. He was a former police officer that illegally crossed the state line & tried to arrest cousin S2 at my property while he was working on it. My FIL worked for the Sheriff's dept. in Ohio where the dumbass IT guy (Indiana officer at the time) tried making his arrest. My FIL & my wife's bosses had the OH AG look into it. Next thing you know Officer IT dipshit resigned for the 1st time.

Dodger did nothing wrong. The sub was an ass from cousin N1s younger daughter in that class as well. Mr IT fuckup was to have had her iPad ready. He didn't so she was one of a few new students that were getting a 0 on a pre-test. Then Mr IT fuckup got her iPad to her but didn't set up the program or give her an email & password for it. School librarian told me that when I called after school to inquire. Plus the iPad he got was one of the defective ones last year that he needs to replace today.

Asking for some T & P's for SIL

poor kid was in an abusive marriage for over 20 years. Finally got out and went into another abusive relationship. She is currently in the hospital with dangerously high blood sugar levels and low potassium. Told my MIL that she doesn't deserve to be happy

just finished S3E3...I am liking it so far. The latest episode had me feeling the stress of working in a restaurant kitchen.

I don't get why people here are bitching about it...I think it's been good so far

Lawn bowling tonight with my team I sub for, although the two people on the team I socialize with aren't going to be there, so I'll be curious the other subs.

I need to finish S3

it's more background stories and I think that annoys people, but i've really enjoyed it

I'm also watching Simone Biles documentary, well, the first part, and need to watch 2nd, it's very good

I have a nice 15 min commute to come into the office, so I don't mind it.

I get a lot of other stuff done on Mondays and Fridays when I WFH
