Drew Brees out as analyst for NBC

Will Aaron Rodgers be offered a lucrative contract to replace him?
 
Brees should just re-sign with the Saints. He's younger than Brady.
 
Brees could cement his lore in New Orleans by signing a vet min contract to come back and bail them out.

Zero chance he does that without Sean running the team.

Drew Brees quit football because he was deteriorating more so after every game. He could get the Saints into the playoffs but by then he was a mess and usually playing hurt and trying to force passes into coverage. He’s done. I don’t think Jamis is the answer but neither is Brees.

Brady started last season strong and then faded down the stretch on a very well balanced Buc's team. I don't think he'll do very well this season.

I feel like if he hadn't spent the last five years drunking, making seven-figures and all the other retirement life stuff he might've been able to pull it off at one point. Him retiring always felt premature.

If his body would’ve let, he would’ve been a HOFer imo.


He broke his collar bone like three times. Had a collapsed lung and I think broke his back before Dak’s rookie season.

As you know, the end comes quickly and usually without warning. This is what happened to Brees
