Dwayne Haskins RIP

RIP Simba. Truly a sad day for not only Buckeye Nation, but also to the WFT and to the Stelers. Having followed Dwayne throughout the recruiting process for college, it was very interesting how things would turn out. Ohio State has JT Barrett and Joe Burrow already on the roster. Somewhere there is a photo of Dwayne (age11) and Coach Tressel with Dwayne in Buckeye jersey saying he will play for Ohio State one day. Indeed he did, and was a Heisman finalist. Thoughts and prayers go out to Dwayne's family. He did so much for the community and to the university.

Sad stuff. I watched him play every game in college, as you did. It does hurt more bc of that fact. Way too young. He had some issues in his life and I heard he was doing better. Prayers to his loved ones and the driver of this truck. It sounds like an accident. I hate seeing anyone die this young

This kind of thing surprisingly and unfortunately happens way too often. Young people feel invincible. Crossing a highway to get to the gas station or club or wherever he was going prob doesn’t seem dangerous. Instead thrilling even. Just guessing. Even if alcohol or drugs were involved, there’s prob more to it than that. Young people take risks.

Most journalists are the scum of the earth right down there with politicians.
