Each P5 team's highest AP poll ranking in the CFP era (since 2014)

That win wasn't during the CFP era though.

That criteria is in the title and the OP.
I knew you had that out but you don't have to spoil my fun.

BTW, 2012 wad Wisconsin's one score hell. They lost 6 games, all by one score or less. 2 losses in OT. 4 losses by a field goal.

2016

Started 7-0 with a win over Oregon before getting clubbed like a baby seal by Ohio St (62-3) then Iowa (40-10)

Ended up 9-4.
I remember when beating Oregon was never typed, bragged about, worth noting, or referenced.

Certainly not bragging. Oregon was the only OOC P5 Nebraska played and were ranked #22 at the time.
You are correct though, in that I should have used Wyoming for my OOC example.

Fresno St: 1-11
Wyoming: 8-6
Oregon: 4-8
N'Western: 7-6
Illinois: 3-9
Indiana: 6-7
Purdue: 3-9

I'm sure it hurts to have lost to a Nebraska team that's gone 23 - 45 since. :dhd:

The 2016 Oregon team was so bad that it got an Oregon coach fired. That hadn't happened since 1976. And the Nebraska game was a perfect example of how much of a dumb ass he was. We lost the game because he wouldn't kick extra points. He went for 2 on each of the 5 touchdowns
