Earl Thomas released

Once a thug, always a thug.

This is a scam to get out of Earl's contract. It could be they found they had a much better player with a much lower contract.

Can’t see that easily. They could just cut him for business reasons and not drag his name through the mud.

Im curious what was detrimental to the team now, though.

Fighting with your own teammates is generally considered "conduct detrimental". Being a dick isn't a good look either. From ESPN;

" Thomas, 31, was sent home Friday and has not returned to the Ravens' facility since his on-field altercation with Clark. This was the second fiery exchange with a teammate for Thomas, who confronted nose tackle Brandon Williams after a loss to Cleveland 11 months ago. Thomas also missed or was late to several meetings throughout his 17 months in Baltimore, a source added. "

Bullshit. Fights break out during training camp, football practices and games all the fucking time, moron.

If everyone who got into a fight with teammates was released, there would be a lot more of these and there are not.

Maybe there was more to this.

Ahhhhh....yeah....I won’t say they just wanted out. He doesn’t seem like a fit in there at all.

Fights in camp happen a lot. But this just sounds like the final straw.

Holy shit! They are paying $10M more in dead cap than they would by keeping him and just sitting him. That’s a big number.

Shut up stupid. Pushing and shoving happen all the time, fights do not. Why are you even talking about football, you don't know one fucking thing about it?

The fact that the Thugland Raisins are all done putting up with this overrated dickhead's bullshit says it all. Maybe Las Vegas will pick him up and you can buy his new Raiders bobblehead doll and rub one out to it, You'd like that, I'm sure.

Sometimes teams have to eat a bad contract and take a nasty cap hit to cut out the cancer. It happens.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather he stayed and caused Baltimore to implode and suck for the next 30 years, but it seems pretty clear that Thomas ain't all about "team" and Harbaugh had had enough.

Fights don't break out all the time in football practices, games and scrimmages?

You're the one who knows jack shit about football. Fucking idiot. Go fuck yourself.

Good to see that you have the talent to be an idiot on two websites. Pushing and shoving isn't a "fight".

Say , wasn't it Earl Thomas that started some shit with Patriot's players after the last play of the SB that Wittow Wusty Wilson choked away?
