Egg Prices In Your Area

$3.98 for six
$5.98 for 12
$7.98 for 18

I passed we’ll do without.
Jesus man. As I posted elsewhere, just went to Costco over the weekend (we don't go but like once a month) and got two dozen for $7. Our local Meijer has the cheapest eggs for $2.99 a dozen. You all need a Meijer down there.

Fucking high, according to the wife.

I have personally given this exact answer many times to a variety of questions.

Luckily, my brother has a bunch of laying hens. I haven’t had to buy eggs in a while

My parents-in-law have a local retired guy who started chicken farming to stay busy. He'd basically give eggs to anyone who asked and traded and bartered for goods and services til he had quite a production going. Now that he's really producing, it's turned into a business and he has his daughter-in-law working full-time for him and just hired another guy and all the local people are getting organic eggs at a reasonable price and it's all cash transactions.

I have a guy at work who is like a pseudo homesteader with like 40 chickens. If you bring him in a carton, he'll fill it with eggs for free because he can't keep up with how many eggs they lay and he doesn't have time to sell them.

That's kind of how this guy was. He was giving them all away because he's a decent dude and now he can't keep up with the paying customers.

I've noticed that eggs have gone up significantly at grocery stores.

There's a farm fairly close by that sells eggs that I have been getting eggs at for quite a while. Their prices have stayed the same.

Just had a couple hard-boiled eggs and an 8 oz glass of milk for lunch. cost of goods=85 cents

My Meijer is double that for the eggs that come in the cage.

This sounds like the plot to a Kevin Costner movie.

I didn’t see the price for a dozen, but my local Kroger had 18 for $7.39
