no, it's pretty much comes down to every industry raised the prices blaming inflation, covid, etc... markets have come down around those areas, but they have no plan to reduce prices to consumers once they saw what they could sell them at. chicken wing prices went down across the board. supermarket may have came down, but restaurants said fuck that. i've been to some that are still trying for $2 a wing, i said fuck that.
 
my favorite was how much my car insurance has gone up over the last few years. the shit has been raised significantly every 6 months. I'm pretty sure my policy is yearly and I pay for it in 2 installments every six months. Why it's gone up every six months while people have been driving less and less? Yet they just said, inflation, *shrug*. Need insurance, so what are you gonna do.
 
to get back on topic, i bought a dozen XL Egglands Best for 5.79 today.
