It does when you realize what people have been saying for year, that Pep is a checkbook manager. The fact they are still spending like this tells me they've already bribed the right people and nothing will come from those 115 (or is it 120 now?) charges.Makes no sense. Wtf

Tel looked like an upcoming young talent and was one of the youngest players to 10 career goals in the Bundesliga. Since Kane arrived his numbers not as good and struggling this year. Not getting time this year. Bayern moved him to left wing. Not ideal. He is more of a striker long term imo. Ideal position to me. Hard accurate shooter which ideal at center, not as great with possession on the wing, i hope spurs use him as a striker. They will get better results there. He can be a 15 to 20 goal a season guy long term but needs to be a striker and get the right coach and playing time.Tell me about how many goals we can expect out of Mathys Tel.

Big upside for sure and I heard over at Bavarian Football Works numerous teams interested. Man U came close but money an issue. Spurs got a good player long term, Bayern with Kompany he refuses to play the youngsters and many loaned or sold this year. Look at Bayern wingers they are like stale milk from 2020. Not sure why Tel didn’t get more chances especially over the likes of Coman and Gnabry. Maybe even Sane. Only Olise good. Kompany wants a trophy maybe for Kane too. Bundesliga probably only chance this year and stay ahead of Leverkusen he is all in on the vets.Being a backup to Kane has always been an issue for Spurs when we had him. Kane simply played every game, so there weren't good minutes to rotate anyone else in...also made it hard to recruit for depth.
In Ange's system, and with our depth the way it is, he's going to get a ton of minutes. We don't have the numbers to play 2x a week, so I'd imagine he will feature every game going forward until he needs to be rested. Tel will probably end up playing all 3 of our front attacking slots at times the remainder of the season. Hope it works out! He's exactly the profile we have been recruiting lately: young, big upside
Haven’t watched the post game interviews but I’m fully expecting Arteta to blame it on being too cold, or too hot, or too windy, or not windy enough, or the grass being too high, or too low, too wet, or too dry, or the ball being too light, or too heavy, or pretty much any nonsense other than his team got outplayed and weren’t good enough.Where is our West Ham fan? West Ham just put a huge dent Arsenal EPL Title hopes. LOL. With Liverpool stumbling midweek with a tie now Arsenal goes and loses.
You nailed it with Arteta. Also there was red card again. They get a lot reds and maybe that is the mentality when you have a coach who is Jumping Jack Flash on the sidelines. It permeates to the players.Haven’t watched the post game interviews but I’m fully expecting Arteta to blame it on being too cold, or too hot, or too windy, or not windy enough, or the grass being too high, or too low, too wet, or too dry, or the ball being too light, or too heavy, or pretty much any nonsense other than his team got outplayed and weren’t good enough.
That said…COYI!!!!
West Ham has usually done well at Arsenal, last team to win at Highbury and the first team to win at the Emirates.
Also, West Ham have more European silverware than Arsenal…let that sink in.
