Agreed. No excuse being that bad with the team they had

Oklahoma is in. Big 12 best conference in the country and it’s not really close. Well done tho

OU still has a lot of work to do. 2-11 against Q1. 8-13 against Q1/Q2. If they lose at KSU, they need to win the B12 tournament. If they beat KSU getting to the B12 tournament final might be enough.

Oklahoma is only on 3 out of a possible 112 brackets on bracket matrix

they have a lot of work to do tbh

this past weekend wasn't great for the Deacs, but they still look in good shape. 10 seed on bracket matrix and Lunardi has them in as the first team w/ a bye.

Thoughts now on Oklahoma after upsetting Baylor in Big 12 tourney

I still think they need to beat ISU/TT in the next game. 18-15 overall is a tough spot to be in. Not much precedence for a team only 3 games above.500 getting in. Only has happened 4 times in history, not including the pandemic year. Still 2 games below .500 in the 1st 3 quadrants.

The ACC, Big East and Big 12 night caps aren’t very good games.

Goodbye Florida, UVA, Oregon...

VCU and Dayton teams to watch on the Bubble from A-10 but one would have to beat the other to make it one, so only one spot.

OU and VTech in if they win their next game, but doubt either will.

Ooh. Indiana and A&M are in.

Two teams just lost spots...

Will this be enough? Only on two brackets on bracket matrix before this. It’s gonna be close

A&M very unlikely to be in yet.

Lunardi not the be all end all but he had them in his next four out entering today.

Conference tourney week does not move the needle much at all.

Somewhat true, especially for the Sunday games, but runs do count.

I think theyre on the cut line.

Nah I saw a deep dive, wish I could find it. About how little the needle moves.

The committee starts to lock in seeds before the weekend even. Its really hard to jump more than a few spots.

Shit, Decourcy didnt even move Indiana after beating Michigan yesterday.

I'd say A&M is still out right now, not guranteeing it though. Lot of teams bunched up

A few spots is a big deal though.

Runs are remembered more than individual wins and losses.

'Cuse always used to make BET runs and they'd pop up a seed line or 2.

Cuse just always has a bias for their resume

All wins are weight the same. A&M started in most brackets behind like 8 teams at least. Thats a massive jump. Its just not the precident. There is like years of data on it. Conference tournies rarely move the needle aside from being right on the cut line and either saving yoru season or blowing it.

I actually think Lunardi is pretty far off base with his selection/seeding. He is holding the ACC in to high of a regard. I think Wake is out at this point. I don't think ND is safe either, he has them last 4 BYES. IMO, they are at best in Dayton. ND and Wake have really shaky resumes. ND is 4-9 against Q1/Q2. That's pretty bad. And they have a Q3 loss. Also, A&M has a h2h win over(FWIW). A&M is 8-9 in Q1/Q2. That's pretty significant. Really the only thing ND has going for them over A&M is a better OOC SoS, but A&M has the better overall SoS. 17 of ND's win are Q3/Q4.
