I tried years ago when I still lived in the US and it was impossible. Don't know about now but I suspect the same.
It would just be cancelling cable, since ESPN is on about every package. I haven't had it in a while, but the 3 or 4 times I've had to cancel, it's pretty easy... Just a little annoying going through their pitches
Cut the cord. Currently I have no espn and I don’t want it.
ESPN has been unwatchable for me for over 20 years. Other than suffering through their insipid blathering during NFL games I really wanted to see I haven't watched that shit network since the late 90's. It's too bad because the concept was great when it first started and the lineup of on air talent was solid for quite a while.

I loved it til about 2012 I guess? In Stuart Scott's heydey, it was great. Loved it. Now this...
I bailed on them when they turned into the Ebonics Sports Promotion Network. Couldn't get the NHL highlights on SportsCenter, but I could get plenty of WNBA scores? Chris Berman's shtick got tired, there was too much SJW bullshit and their coverage of football was sad. When you're claiming to be a sports network and you're televising poker matches, well...........................
Fuk dat.
It was more entertaining when they were broadcasting Australian Rules Football at night to fill time slots and didn't take themselves seriously.

I had the platinum package on DirecTV for about 20 yrs. I had to go through four of their top "account retention" guys before they agreed to close the account. I closed it because I was going through a divorce and leaving California, but I told them it was because ESPN had gotten so bad I was boycotting them and going ala carte on streaming. I didn't think they were going to cancel it for me!
It was that damn Lefty ass kisser from Carolina, John Skipper, devoted coke-head who started getting more and more powerful since 1997. He had a "substance addiction" and stepped down in 2017.
They really did have a good lineup of on air talent back in the early days. Bob Ley, Tom Mees, Karl Ravech, Berman before he became a drunken caricature, the lovely Gayle Gardner, John Saunders, Steve Levy and hell, even Keith Olberman was a riot before he went off the deep end.
It's a shame really. Be nice if they could lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously.
It was back in the old days, then Disney got themselves in trouble and has been trying to find a buyer for ESPN since ESPN classic was purchased. Since Disney went damn near bankrupt acquiring LucasFilms and the Fox Movie Studio, ESPN was for sale and that is the exact point that they went balls deep going as far left as possible to try to get NBC or CBS to pick them up and over take their entire sports programming.
Astute use of the words ESPN, poker, and unwatchable in the same sentence. I couldn't agree more.

Sports. At the moment, that sport is tennis and a SportsCenter show that's meant to show highlights, but mostly just talks NFL and NBA stuff.
Mostly they just talk which is a big reason I don't watch them anymore. To show me the dam highlights like you used to 25-30 years ago and keep your political opinions to yourself.
