Everything you’re seeing now in cfb…

Yet Oregon is NOT tejas or USC. tejas and USC are bluebloods. They are anchors when it comes to negotiating your conference media rights deals.

That's why the SEC poached tejas and the Big 10 poached USC.

You "don't get it" because you don't like it.
you are probably one of those people that got an anchor tattoo that says i refuse to sink

No tats

BTW.... I'm not the one picking teams to join the Big 10 or SEC. That's the main office.
I'm also not the one counting beans and putting packages together for the media rights networks to offer conferences.

Those people are the specialists and their due diligence doesn't see value in Oregon.

I get that you don't like it and therefore don't get it.

history only goes so far and the future changes.
i hope you never had a chance to invest in Amazon and chose to donate to your local library instead.
Pass on Neflix and tried to open a blockbuster
thought people wont go out to get coffee when they can just make it at home like they always have, what kind of name is starbucks anyway?
you were probably mad when they introduced things like the forward pass and the 3 point line

It's not up to me to invest in Oregon.

It's up to the Big 10, SEC, ESPN, and FOX. Apparently they're not convinced it's worth the risk.

I've already told you the 'why', but you don't like it and therefore 'don't get it'.

you keep saying i dont get it when i do. I just think its dumb, short sighted, archaic whatever you want to call it to think that only teams that used to be good can or will be good while teams that didnt used to be good will never be good enough.

Some teams just choke.

Bama won the Natty in 2011 and 2012 because multiple teams choked.

In 2011 Oklahoma State, Boise State, Oregon all had their chance and choked to allow Alabama another shot.

In 2012 Kansas State and Oregon choked and Allowed Bama another chance.

Some teams just can’t handle it and choke.
I woulndt call either late season loss by Oregon in 11 or 12 chokes. 3 points and a 3 point OT loss? the stanford OT loss also with a controversial call on the TD that led to the tie

2007 was a fucking mess all around.

Ohio State had no business even playing for a national title, but nobody else wanted to win it either.

1998 was another fuckity year. Tennessee basically lucked into a layup title against a beat up FSU team with a 3rd string QB because a handful of other teams couldn't get it done later in the year.

Oregon was the higher rated team in both games and they were both at home late in the seasons. Not winning those games is definitely "choking"

It wasn’t controversial. His shoulders clearly landed in bounds

na choking is like when Oregon lost to Arizona State in 2019 and Utah in 2021. those were choke jobs.

You have a very weird definition of “choke”.

I never said any of that.

I'm simply telling you why Oregon is not high on the list for Big 10 or SEC expansion.

You don't like it and therefore you 'don't get it'.

how do you figure?

Cuz in 2012 Stanford didn’t really beat Oregon. Oregon mostly beat themselves. Missed FG’s, missed blocks, stupid 4th down att’s, etc.

Last year Oregon just got beat by a better team.
